If you've had an auto accident or experienced property loss, above all else, please make sure that you, your family, and anyone else involved are safe before reporting your claim!

Submitting a Claim

To start a new claim during normal business hours, please contact your local FBCO agent and they will begin the claims process for you. You can also submit your claim online through our Customer Portal or call the FBCO Claims Hotline at 1-888-701-1876. Shortly after you have filed your claim, an adjuster will follow up with you to review the claims process and answer any questions you may have.

After-Hours Claim Reporting

If you need to report a claim after business hours, the FBCO Customer Portal is available 24/7 to open a new claim. After-hours claims can also be initiated by calling 1-888-701-1876 and leaving a message. Your call will be returned by an FBCO adjuster the next business day.

Helpful Information to Have When Submitting a Claim

Whether you submit your claim during regular business hours or after hours, your report will be more complete if you have the following information available for the customer service representative or online portal.

FOR AUTO CLAIMS:
  • Your FBCO policy number for your vehicle
  • Name and contact phone number for all of the parties involved, including:
    • Owner of your vehicle
    • Driver of your vehicle (if different)
    • Passengers in your vehicle
    • Owner and driver of any other vehicles involved in the accident
    • Names of any witnesses
    • Any other involved parties, including the wrecker service or repair shop where your vehicle was towed
  • List of vehicles/property involved
  • Date and time the loss occurred
  • Location of the loss or accident
  • Description of what happened
  • Description of damage and/or injuries
  • Police report number
FOR PROPERTY CLAIMS:
  • Your FBCO policy number for your home or farm
  • Name and primary contact phone number for whom we should contact to discuss the claim
  • Name and contact number for all involved parties
  • Date and time the loss occurred
  • Description of the damaged property or contents

What Happens After Your Claim Is Submitted

When you've had a covered loss, FBCO will partner with you to handle your claim and help get your covered vehicle or property repaired or replaced. Once the claim has been assigned to one of our claim representatives, he or she will typically contact you within 24 to 48 hours. The claims representative will be able to answer your questions and provide information that helps you resolve a covered claim quickly and efficiently.
